2008 Holiday Art Contest Season of Hope The Public Education Foundation selected Hillary Tait,
a twelfth grade student at Coronado High School, as the first place winner
of its annual holiday art contest. The theme of this year’s contest was
“Season of Hope.” Tait’s artwork will be featured on the Foundation’s
2008 holiday card, which is mailed to approximately 10,000 community
members. The second place winner is Joyce Tran, a junior at
Spring Valley High School. The third place winner is Deena Raymond, a seventh
grader at Leavitt Middle School. Jessica Sellers, Jen Tichon, Dawn Bradbury are the teachers of the first, second and third place winners respectively. More than 400 entries were received from 14 Clark County School District elementary, middle and high schools.
