Give the Gift of Reading

As the holidays draw near and we take time to reflect on the challenges and hope of the season, please consider giving the gift of reading.

In the coming weeks as you prepare your holiday gift list, we hope you will consider making a charitable donation, in lieu of a gift, to honor your friends, family members or colleagues.

By supporting Clark County READS, The Public Education Foundation’s literacy initiative, your gift will make a lasting impact by providing books to at-risk children, sponsoring an after-school reading program, training volunteers or replacing outdated non-fiction books at a school library. You select the program that means the most to you or to your honoree.

The Public Education Foundation will acknowledge your tax deductible gift by sending a customized certificate to your honoree and placing a personalized bookplate in each book you donate to memorialize your generosity.

Supporting education this holiday season is an important way to help our children, honor someone special and celebrate the wonder and joy of reading. Please remember every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference in the lives of our children.
